General Warranty Policy

Lutech stands squarely behind every product we design, manufacture and sell. We will honor
every transaction and treat each Lutech warranty claim with the utmost care. Each of our service
engineer / technicians are trained to diagnose and hone in on the problem, to communicate
openly and proactively with the customers and to find a solution as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Basic Warranty

Typically, your Lutech product comes with a warranty of 1 year from the time of purchase. This
covers both repair and parts for the main unit. The accessories that come with the unit have a 6
month warranty. The customer is responsible for the shipping fee when sending in the product
or accessory for repair. If the item is under warranty and is indeed defective, then it will be
repaired or replaced and shipped back free of charge. If the item is not under warranty or is not
defective, then the customer will be responsible for both parts and repair costs as well as the
shipping charge to ship the item back to the customer.

Depending on your distributor policy and individual sales contract terms, your colposcope
warranty or monitor warranty may differ from the general warranty. For questions on your
existing warranty or for extended warranty information, please contact your Lutech
representative or an authorized Lutech distributor.

Not Covered Under Warranty

 The warranty is voided if the product or accessory:

  • Has been damaged from improper operation or misuse.
  • Has been damaged because of improper connection to other equipment.
  • Has been damaged physically, whether by accident or not.
  • Has been damaged because of storage under inappropriate conditions.
  • Has been modified without the written authorization of Lutech.
  • Has had the serial number removed or defaced.

Loaners

Depending on the product, territory and contract, you may quality for a free loaner device while
your device is under repair. Paid loaners are available outside of the warranty period. Please
contact your sales representative for more information.
